Apate

Goddess of Deceit and Fraud

Apate does not thunder into battle nor blaze with celestial fire. She arrives silently, draped in charm and poison, her lies spun like silk around the unsuspecting. On Greek Astra, she is the goddess of deceit, a shadow that thrives in trust misplaced, a villainess whose power is as cruel as it is subtle.

Even though she is does not need the strike of a blade but is the hand that guides mortals and gods alike into wielding it against yourself and others. She is granted power from the most evil god, the kind of power she has never known before. Apate thrives where weakness meets desire, where ambition blinds, where pride convinces you that you cannot be fooled, until you are.

Legends say even gods have fallen to her snares, their certainties unraveled by a single whisper. Once her web is cast, escape is nearly impossible, for every choice you make tightens the snare. On Greek Astra, Apate is no harmless trickster, she is the venom in the promise, the blade behind the smile, the betrayal that cannot be undone.
