Thanatos
Personified God of Peaceful Death
Thanatos is not a roaring god of war or a fiery bringer of plague. He does not thunder or rage. Instead, he comes quietly, inevitable, patient, and unshakable. On Greek Astra, Thanatos is the personification of peaceful death, the shadow that walks beside every life, waiting for the final breath.
While he may play in the shadows, Thanatos is not the boogieman of the dark, he is the comfort one seeks in their final moments. He does not choose. He simply fulfills the truth all mortals share: that every flame must one day burn out.
Legends whisper that his touch is cold but not cruel, a release from suffering rather than a torment. Even the gods respected him, for even Olympus could not outrun his grasp.
On Greek Astra, Thanatos is more than a shadow at the world’s edge. Since those on an Astra have optional infinite life, his skills aren’t utilized as they were on Earth, he’s taken his skills to hide in the shadow and comfort the mortals around him.
